Version 2.5 Express and Pro - July, 28th 2008

• Added the teleprompter, which helps with live narration while presenting a slideshow on stage. When starting a fullscreen presentation on a dual monitor setup (e.g. a digital projector connected to your MacBook Pro), you can enable the teleprompter with the checkbox below the screen chooser. The teleprompter will appear in the document window, as long as the document window is not on the presentation screen.
• FotoMagico now supports the iMediaBrowser framework, which which was initiated by Karelia Software. This helps to bring more robust media browsing and is easily extenable through plugins.
• The iMediaBrowser brings support for browsing Adobe Lightroom, GarageBand, and iLife Sound Effects libraries as the first immediate benefit to FotoMagico users.
• Browsing Finder folders of image or audio files has also been made easier with iMediaBrowser. Simply drag a folder to the source list view (or add it via the "Add Folder..." command in the source popup menu). To remove a folder from the list, select and delete it by pressing the backspace button (or choose the "Remove Folder" command from the source popup menu).
• Direct to YouTube export. The Sharing Assistant now contains a new plugin that lets you export Slideshows for YouTube and upload it to your account.
• Introduced a new "FotoMagico Slideshow" file format with .fms extension. This new file format is much more expressive than the old one and paves the way for new features which will appear in FotoMagico 3. Please use this file format for new slideshow projects. You can also convert old slideshows to the new format by choosing Save As... and selecting "FotoMagico Slideshow" from the format popup menu. Saving in the old file formats (.ssd and .ssp) is still available for compatibility with older versions of FotoMagico.
• .Mac has been renamed to MobileMe in user interface.
• Preview slideshows now plays from playhead to end of show, regardless of any selection in the Storyboard.
• Exporting very long slideshows no longer leaks memory, which could cause FotoMagico to eventually crash.
• Watermark image should no longer get lost when copying document or standalone players to another computer.
• Fixed UI display glitches on Tiger.
• Various under-the-hood changes.
• Various small fixes.
